# Browsing all files

> The file tree and file contents at a commit

Browse every file at the commit you picked in the graph as a tree in the right sidebar, and read a file's contents in a tab.

## The all files tree

Select a commit and a **Changes N** / **All** switch appears above the file list in the right sidebar.
Choose **All** and every file tracked at that commit appears as a folder tree.
Files changed in that commit get the same status glyphs as in the changed files list.

Right-click a file to [open its file history](https://docs.parallelane.com/review/file-history.md).

## The file contents tab

Click a file in the tree and its contents at that commit open in a read-only tab in the center.
The tab name is followed by `@ short SHA`, and the top of the tab shows the path, the short SHA, and the line count.
Image files appear as images, and LFS files appear as a [**Git LFS object** card](https://docs.parallelane.com/settings/git-lfs.md).

The **Copy file contents** button on the right of the top bar copies the original text exactly, including long lines cut off on screen and the original line endings.

## LFS files in the tree

Git LFS file rows get an **LFS** badge, plus icons that depend on their state.

* A cloud icon means the LFS file at that commit hasn't been downloaded yet.
* A closed lock means someone has [locked the file](https://docs.parallelane.com/settings/git-lfs.md#locking-files).
* An open lock means you need to lock the file before editing it.

Hover over an LFS row and a tooltip shows whether it's downloaded and who locked it.
Right-click an LFS file and choose **Lock File** or **Unlock** from the **Git LFS** submenu.
**Unlock** appears only on files you locked.
